Grumpy - 1

On May 22, 2026, a tough little rubber duck named Grumpy boarded the Norwegian Joy in Seattle for an Alaskan cruise with his wife, Nana, and their energetic grandson, Boo. Grumpy had spent years supervising massive industrial construction projects, so the moment he stepped onboard, he started inspecting railings, studying engine noises, and jokingly “approving” the ship’s steelwork with serious little nods. During glacier viewing near Alaska, Boo hid Grumpy around the ship for passengers to find, and soon stories spread about the tiny construction boss carrying a miniature clipboard and hard hat. One afternoon, Grumpy became a hero after Boo accidentally dropped his toy excavator under a lounge chair, and Grumpy “led” a dramatic rescue mission involving three crew members and a flashlight. By the end of the cruise, dozens of passengers knew Grumpy as the legendary duck who could spot a loose bolt from fifty feet away while still making time for family adventures with Nana and Boo.
