Don the Duck

On May 22, 2026, a rubber duck named Don boarded the Norwegian Joy in Seattle for a long-awaited cruise to Alaska. Everywhere he waddled, passengers did double takes because Don looked remarkably similar to a certain famous cartoon duck, right down to the sailor outfit and feathery attitude. Kids giggled whenever he muttered dramatic little quacks while posing proudly beside the ship’s railings for photos. One afternoon near the glaciers, a tourist jokingly asked for Don’s autograph, and soon a whole line of passengers formed behind them. Don leaned into the attention, spending the rest of the trip waving like a celebrity and pretending the northern lights were flashing cameras just for him. By the final evening at sea, everyone agreed that maybe the world really did have room for a few hilarious doppelgängers.
